Well I'm back. Thanks to everyone that has left comments here for me. I can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks since my first post and 6 weeks since Matty's death. I'm not sure where the time has gone but it sure goes fast. I've had fun going to the different sites of Matty's friends and reading their posts and comments that people have made. There seems to be a common thread running through many of them. Matty is mentioned often which brings me either a smile or a tear but aside from that, I feel a warmth and camaraderie among all of you "blogsters" (is that a word?). The blog sites are really cool and I am amazed by it all. One of the sites that I've gone to is Shawn Tunink's, he put some prayers and pictures of a procession they had at the seminary last week on his site. I found it very comforting. In case you haven't seen it, his site is stunink's Xanga Site -- I just wanted to let you all know that I think it's wonderful that you all keep in touch with each other like this.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything profound to write tonight but maybe one day I will.
I had a nice evening tonight. One of Matty's dear friends, Emily Salem, came by and we went to dinner, came back here, had a glass of wine and talked for a while. It was so nice seeing her and talking about what's going on in our lives. Matty had great friends and I'm lucky to have been able to share in these friendships. Goodnight for now. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers.
Pam
